iBelong Educating children of all ages

RAMP presents a program, free of charge, which educates children of all ages regarding the acceptance of their peers and develops in them a true desire to see one another succeed. RAMP's iBelong program takes disability awareness to the classroom and educates students (K-12) with exercises and lesson plans designed to:

Build disability awareness into school curriculum through active learning experiences

Increase knowledge about disabilities and foster positive attitudes toward people with disabilities

Promote acceptance of people with disabilities in all aspects of school and community life

Facilitate community and school partnerships

The exercises and lesson plans are age specific and seek to challenge myths and misconceptions about people with disabilities and promote awareness of various forms of disabilities and can be tailored to fit the needs of any classroom or school.

iBelong is partially funded by Rock River Valley United Way for Winnebago County. Look for expansion of the iBelong program in other counties in the near future. For more information about iBelong please contact RAMP.
