The SLANT
is a 16-page publication with pictures, graphics and
advertisers. It is created in-house at RAMP by the Marketing
Coordinator, Jodey Foss, and then sent to an outside
print shop for printing, bundling and mailing.
It is mailed direct to over 7,000 people and
businesses in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin and
over 120 additional drop-off sites, giving it a total
circulation of about 10,200.
We work hard to make the SLANT
an attractive periodical that provides disability related
information that appeals to all types of people, whether
they have a disability or not. In it,
you will find consumer success stories, current issues,
calendar of events, and other social
service agency news. Columns in the past have included
Development Corner, Details from DeKalb,
Stephenson Scoop, Personal Assistant
Services, Personal
Assistant of the Month, On The Spot (with RAMP staff),
and many more.
